its ur rank in whatever catagory ur in. for example u could kill every1 with ur friends and have a 15 point skill in team slayer. but when u play alone, u lose everytime.maybe why u have 4..when u get 70 experience points, u need atleast a skill of 10 to advance to corpal. dont really worry about it.
o its like how good u are like u could be a sparten but only have a 4 skill points and u play agianst other s that have skill 1-14.
What do the skill points mean in halo 3 matchmaking?? i currently have 4?
It's so you get matched up with someone of a similar skill level to yourself. It stops people from killing people who are at a much lower skill level than themselves.
Reply:its for when you want to change the map. you buy new guns or move stuff around so you have stuff where you need it on the map.
