What is Sashtha?

A while ago I was reading about horoscopes and match making. I remember reading something about Sashtha. It was also called Shastaham in some places. It has something to do with 6 Raasi's? or something like that. And they mentioned that this is something to be watched out for while matchmaking. Can you please tell me more about this?

What is Sashtha?
In our tradition we count the Raashi of a boy from girls's Raashi. The boy's Raashi is sixth Raashi from the girl's==it is called Sashtam. Eg. Girl Aries and boy Virgo-Sahtam. Result not to be taken.

shsta(Shastastaka,shshdastaka-etc-) is one besides dwi dwadasa, navapanchaka etc--.
