it's completely free, and you can send as many emails and IMs as you want. it's the only site i know that is free to be able to send messages. match, eharmony, perfectmatch, lavalife, etc all charge you in some way, shape or form. i met my bf of almost 6 months on plentyoffish.com...its free so nothing to lose!! good luck!
Reply:most of the sites want you to spend money --- some of them will allow you a limited access that includes a chat room --- you can use that to get more details for private conversations --- at least the adult sites i have used allow that --- and regardless of the advertising many of the people are looking for friendship and long term relations more than anything else --- best wishes
