How do I fix xbox live halo 2 matchmaking if the optimatch is not working?

For those with xbox live who have played halo 2, you will know that you can select different playlist and it matches people with wou that have a simialar skill level. About a month ago it just stopped working to the point where I would start searching for games and it would go on to step 2 after a while and it wouldn't find any players so it would go back to step one and keep repeating the process.

How do I fix xbox live halo 2 matchmaking if the optimatch is not working?

well the same thing happened to me about 3 months ago


theres 2 reasons for this :)


if it isnt one of these 2 reasons then u have to call bungie and tell them your problem....


but its either


1) you got banned from playing matchmaking for cheating or some other reasong


2)which happened to me- your interent is blocking other players from joining your internet (this is how you get games)


its prob a firewall on ur comp that isnt allowing.. (in my case it was zonealarm pro) anyone i took off the firewall and it started working..





check your firewall (even if you think u dont have one.. check anyway, it may not seem like a firewall but every internet has one)





other than those 2 reasons i have no clue


so if that doesnt work then call bungie and tell them





also ask for you 2 months back cause you coulnt play ^^
