I was playing matchmaking online on halo 3 with a sliver account last night but now i cant?

first of all xbox live should be free like PS3 but i was playing halo 3 online last night with a sliver account but now it says its not allowed and to pick another profile. is there anyway to get online with out a sliver account or get a free gold account my 3 gamertags are

There was a promotion that allowed Silver Account members to play on Live for a few days. It sounds like it has ended. You can get free trial subscriptions when you buy certain games. If you bought Halo 3, it probably came with a one month free trial.
Reply:First of all, xbox live should NOT be free...xbox live has a 100% better experience because we pay for it, PS3 has worse connection and does not have HALF of the features that xbox live has...





ok...for 3 days the microsoft people were giving xbox live silver members a trial to gold to show them what they were missing...





so u have 2 options...





buy a game that gives you a free trial for gold (for about 2 days) or buy gold...
