Online Matchmaking/Penpal Club?

What questions or facts would you like to see on a person's profile if you're looking to find someone to marry who has real good chemistry with you? Guys and Gals answers are both welcome. Please provide your age and the age (range) of the ideal person you're looking for and why. Please also consider that person wanting to post a profile is hoping to find someone who's family oriented, and has Christian values not necessarily religious. Thanks!

Online Matchmaking/Penpal Club?
I agree with the answers provided. Depend on God to send your mate to you. If God doesn't send somebody to you, it may be because He's is still working on you or the person He has in mind for you.

I'm waiting on my king, but I have got to learn to be a queen first, so I'm trying to learn my lessons so that I will be ready when he comes. Remember the ten virgins, the five who were ready and the five who were not?

The best matchmaker is God.
Reply:ill never use 1 of those so i use the direct way
Reply:Hi Androginy,

Let me ask you this...would you buy your groceries if they were all in 'mystery' wrappers, so that you couldn't really know what you're getting?

That's the way to sum it up for online dating sites.

Only believe half of what you see, and even less of what you hear. It doesn't matter what questions or facts they state on their profile...unless you want to have 'chemistry' and marry someone based mostly on fantasy.

People will show photos from the neck up, profess to be everything under the sun their imagination can muster...and more times than not, you are communicating with someone in a 'mystery' wrapper for sure.

Online, people can and will be anything they want to be, imagine them self to be, or, merely what they want to portray and have you perceive them to be.

To effectively find someone to marry, one should join a singles club in their area where they can see for them self first hand what the other person is TRULY like...before involving lots of time and energy....only to end up being disappointed.

Please don't be a 'mystery' shopper...especially for marriage.

Myself, i am spiritual, but not religious...and i wouldn't be narrow minded enough to base a relationship geared only to the values of a certain religion...the values the other person holds and honors within is what truly matters.

The age and person i'm looking for part doesn't apply to me though... as I have a fiancee....and I met her in person.

best wishes.

UPDATE %26gt; SIDE NOTE:

PS: My fiancee is also from the Philippines. I was told about her through a friend from work who is engaged to her cousin there...someone who actually knew about her and what she was like. I then went there to meet her in person. Not all, but I've heard of many internet situations from people in my country who went there without first hand information about the person living there...and it didn't work out.

PPS: To meet people in other countries, they could join the military... or, they could apply to be a foreign worker in different country.
Reply:don`t use those please. sorry but i believe its a waste of time if you are looking for someone to marry.
