I wouldn't want to go out with a repeat offender! How do they select candidates? Or do they try to work with all of them? And what about mental cases?

Even if they did, the candidate would have to be honest about every county in every state that they have lived in for the past 10 years. The bill for such a check would be enormous.





So, to answer your question - very very slim to no chances that there is any kind of background check done and even if it was done - it would be virtually meaningless to someone who wants to hide something as they would just give them different prior addresses.





Definitely do not rely on a dating service to check people out.
