Anybody with EXPERIENCE with any international matchmaking services?

I am especially interested in the more "traditional" matchmaking where language might be a barrier, rather than just another match.com international. As important as communication is, I know that this is easy to solve compared to other hurdles (something worth having requires some risk and a lot of hard work).

The U.S. is a convenient place to work and call home but it is not a good place to find a wife. I know the culture and language and I have lived here more than half my life but I will always be an outsider. Even say "hello" to the wrong girl and you will be labeled a "stalker" or "harasser". Apparently I am ok after women turn 35 but that is too old for me. I am not under any illusion that everything is better elsewhere but there are no denying there are differences values and expectations. I want someone I can offer something and it is my strong beleif that a happy marriage is mutually beneficial. I am looking for a way to meet marriage minded girls elsewhere.

Where you look for the best place to find your partner really depends on what culture you want to bring into your life. From there it becomes much easier. Most any place you want to find a partner will have websites for organizations dedicated to helping you for a fee. Google the country and the word matchmaker and you will have a plethora of hits come up.

My best recommendation though is to take a vacation to that place which intrigues you, you may just bump into the love of your life there. I can make this recommendation too, take a trip to Cebu. It is the oldest city in the Philippines, is most comfortable for you to see what the culture has to offer and is much more likely to let you feel at home, even when you are far away from your mailing address.
