I have a question about Halo 3 matchmaking...?

Ok, so how come that in online matchmaking there are loads of things missed out on the maps, like equipment such as firebomb grenades, deployable covers, radar jammers, flares.... And there are no tanks, prowlers, hornets... and no sentinel beams either. What gives?

I have a question about Halo 3 matchmaking...?
Quite a few things were left out of Matchmaking because of what happened in Halo 2 (lots of people complained that tanks were unstoppable etc), thus they left out firebomb grenades as they would give players an unfair advantage. Also, they had to leave out a few things so they could be forge-only i.e. hornets and sentinel beams. Lastly, radar jammers can be found on Narrows and Last Resort, and flares are available on Guardian.

Reply:This is because of halo 2, tanks were overpowered and caused havoc so they removed them from social/ranked play lists, as for firebomb grenades they've not been put there cos they are to easy to use and are effectively instant death, radar jammers are actually on last resort.

Reply:They left some of it out for forge. And others are included in different game modes and weapon set outs.





Radar jammers are in last resort/ Zanzibar.





Wraiths are in Valhalla.





Flares are on guardian.

Reply:You have to put them in when you make the map. The best game you can get for map making id Time Splitters Future Perfect.
